Francis Souza, Jr., age 84 of North Dighton, passed away on January 23, 2017 at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of Dorothea (Rose) Souza.
Frank was born in North Dighton a son of the late Frank and Rose (Roderick) Souza, Sr.
Before retirement in 2001, Mr. Souza was employed with Reed & Barton for over 45 years. He was a 1950 graduate of Coyle High School, and an Army Staff Sergeant Veteran of the Korea Conflict.
Francis also enjoyed working in his yard, wood working, music and driving his truck and his John Deere.

Besides his loving wife of over 61 years, he is survived by three daughters, Cynthia A. Souza, Carol F. Stafford both of No. Dighton and Cheryl M. Rodier of Taunton, grandfather of Ryan Souza, Kate and Laura Stafford. He was also the brother of Roland Souza of Taunton.
Mr. Souza’s funeral will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 7:45 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at St. Mary’s Square) Taunton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in St. Nicholas of Myra Church, Spring St in No. Dighton.
Interment with military honors will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne MA.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 26th from 4 to 7 pm.
