WORCESTER-Barbara A. (Daigneault) Glidden, 67, of 10 Nuttall Lane died Thursday, August 25th,in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 43 years, Avery N. Glidden died in 1999. She leaves 2 sons; Kevin N. and his wife, Robin Glidden and Brian M. and his wife, Cheryl Glidden both of Worcester, 2 daughters; Donna L., wife of Russell Henry of Bristol, CT, Lynn M. Glidden of Worcester, 1 brother; Henry and his wife, Mary Daigneault of Framingham, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nephews and her beloved companion Everett L. Granger. Her grandmother Ovelia Aurora Martin predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Henry and Bertha (LaMountain) Daigneault. Mrs. Glidden enjoyed traveling, trips to the Cape Cod and was a dedicated mother. She loved her family and touched the lives of all those around her with her kindness, love and generosity. She was loved and will be dearly missed by all.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 3rd, at 11:00 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is directing arrangements.
