FALL RIVER…Doreen M. Roach, 60, of Fall River passed away, Friday, January 13, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.
Born in Taunton, She was a daughter of the late John and Florence (Sylvia) Roach.
Ms. Roach worked for many years as a bartender at Jake's in Fall River. She enjoyed cooking, bingo, and watching food network and had an extensive Wizard collection.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie Medeiros and Hayley Chongarlides, both of New Bedford, her son, Peter Chongarlides, Jr. of New Bedford, her sisters, Kathleen Correia of Fall River and Colleen Cantano of New Bedford, her brother James Roach of Dartmouth, 4 grandchildren, Arianna Medeiros, Aidan Medeiros, Ny’Rel Vaz and Jae’Lei Vasquez, several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Pauline, Paul, David & John Roach.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday at 11 AM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 9 - 11 AM, prior to the service.
