Mrs. Elaine E. (Lamarche) Tremblay, of Taunton, died Saturday, January 21 in Taunton Nursing Home following a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Albini P. Tremblay. She was born 85 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Frank and Germaine (Milliard) Lamarche. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, Elaine had been employed as an inspector for Reed and Barton Silversmiths for 25 years. She enjoyed needlework, camping at the Bourne Scenic Park, and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
She leaves: 2 daughters: Suzanne J. Tremblay of Taunton, and Annette M. Kubicek of Norway, Maine; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Tremblay of Taunton; 1 brother: Dr. Donald Lamarche of Virginia Beach, Va.; 1 sister: Shirley Lloyd and her husband, Bentley of Quitman, Tx.; 4 grandchildren: Renee Henderson, Jason Tremblay, Matthew Kubicek, and Jeffrey Tremblay; 4 great grandchildren: Shane Kubicek, Briana Smith, Ethan Kubicek, and Anthony Kubicek, and several nieces and nephews. Elaine was also the mother of the late Paul A. Tremblay of Taunton and sister of the late Jeanne Garceau of Hanson and Jacqueline McCarthy of Yarmouthport.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Thursday, January 26 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
