Obituary

LISBON- Rebecca Grace (Webber) Anderson passed away unexpectedly in Presque Isle Maine the morning of January 20th 2017. Becca left us way too early at the age of 30.

Becca was born June 21st 1986 in Augusta Maine where she was the first of three daughters of her parents Thomas and Lori Webber. Becca was excited to have sisters until she learned that there were rules and that she couldn't play with them all the time. As an adult when Becca had time to spend with her sisters it was always the highlight of her days. She was so honored to be part of her younger sister, Sara Phillips' wedding and was so proud of all the accomplishments of her middle sister Katherine Webber.

Becca attended Kennebec Valley Community College to follow her true passion of helping others and becoming a registered nurse. She worked two jobs while obtaining her degree, one as a tech in the emergency room at Maine General and the other as a CNA at an assisted living facility.

Once she became a nurse you could see how much she loved her job. Passionate, caring and selfless would be the words to describe Becca. She was always willing to go above and beyond for anyone. Her first RN position was at the State Prison in Warren Maine. After leaving there, she had recently received her dream job with AMN Healthcare as a travel nurse. Patients would always talk about how positive she was and how at home she made them feel.

In 2012 she met the love of her life and future husband, Thomas Anderson, who always treated and viewed her as his princess. He even proposed to her in front of the Cinderella castle at Disney World. Together they spent the next few years traveling and going on many adventures. They were married just over a year ago, on November 7th 2015. It was a fairytale in the making. They both had so much love for each other and a zest for life. They had recently purchased their perfect home in Lisbon Maine and had many plans for their future. She loved to have people over at the house where she would always cook way too much food and then pack to go bags for everyone as they left.

Anyone who knew Becca knew how much she loved her involvement in Yelp. She loved exploring new places and sharing her experiences. You couldn't eat a meal without her diving in front of you to take a picture of it before your first bite. She had been an Elite Yelper for 4 years and was very involved in the community service aspect. Last year she won an award for the most community service logged within a month.

She and her husband loved trying new restaurants together. They would make it a point to go on food adventures. Even while out of state on vacations they would drive miles out of their way to try something new, even if it was to try a highly-rated donut.

Becca is survived by her grandparents, Grace Doyon, Boyd and Viola Webber, her loving parents Tom and Lori Webber, her sisters Katherine Webber and Sara Phillips, godparents Mike and Liz Doyon, her aunts and uncles-Maurice and Sherrie Doyon, Paul Doyon, Lisa and Mike Lepore, Lynn Doyon, Bruce and Debbie Webber, Jean Royle, Susan Webber, Boyd Webber Jr, and Patricia Webber, as well as many dear cousins and other relatives, throughout Maine and other states. She is also survived by her heart broken husband Tom Anderson, his sister Rebecca Lee Anderson, and his parents, Andy and Judy Anderson.
