Frank Harwood Wilder, Jr., 87, of Winchester, MA, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Winchester Hospital Saturday January 21st. Beloved husband for 58 years of Elizabeth “Betty” (DeFlorio) Wilder. Loving father of Mark Wilder (wife, Melanie Salisbury) of Belmont and Lisa Wilder-Cappoli, (husband Lou) of Apex, NC. Sister Marilyn Wilder of Auburn. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, Melissa and Kai and many caring nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends.
After graduating from Northeastern in Electrical Engineering in 1954 he spent 43 rewarding years as a manager in Marketing Engineering for Raytheon, which took him all over the world.
When he retired he became active at the Jenks Senior Center Board and as a TV Production Technician. Frank enjoyed many years working on the Stage Crew for the annual Winchester Hospital Winton Club Cabaret. He and Betty shared wonderful memories in the Winchester Schussmeister’s Ski Club and also the Winchester Boat Club.
Frank was also a 32nd degree Mason of the William Parkman Lodge and a member of the Scottish Rite.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Parish of the Epiphany, 70 Church St, Winchester, on Friday, February 10th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A Reception will follow at Hadley Hall after pausing at the Cloister Garden, the consecrated burial ground at Parish of the Epiphany.
