Obituary

Raymond “Ray” S. Tucci, 87, of Franklin, died January 17 in the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Kathleen (Dailey) Tucci who died in 1977.

Born in Franklin, February 12, 1929, the son of the late Stephen and Jenny (D’Aloia) Tucci, Mr. Tucci was a lifelong Franklin resident.

Ray had been a master plumber and co-owner of Polastri Plumbing Company in Franklin for over 40 years.

He was a member of the Half Time Boys and the St. Anthony Society. Ray enjoyed golfing, going to the casinos, having coffee at Honey Dew Donuts with his friends and spending time with his family.

He served in the Army during the Korean War, attaining the rank of Sergeant.

He is survived by his children, John F. Tucci of Franklin, Raelene M. Reinhardt and her husband William of Franklin and Robert P. Tucci and his wife Susan of Franklin.

He was the brother of the late Ernest Tucci, Rose Cheli and Stephannie Landry.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Keith Reinhardt and Jessie Tucci.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, January 21 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginelyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Calling hours will be on Friday, January 20 from 5-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Activities Fund of Medway Country Manor, 115 Holliston Street, Medway, MA 02053.
