Kenneth Ravenelle, 65, of Franklin, died January 9 at his home following a brief illness.
Born in Fall River, April 25, 1951, the son of the late Alexander H. Ravenelle, Jr. and Evelyn (Liandro) Ravenelle, Ken was raised in Fall River and had lived in Lowell, Chelmsford, and throughout much of the United States before moving to Franklin.
He was a graduate of Durfee High School in Fall River. He also was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, and Boston University where he attained his Master’s Degree. In addition, Ken was an attendee of the Stanford Executive Management program.
Ken served as a contractual advisor in the healthcare field for many years.
He enjoyed sailing, travel, long drives, cigars, the beach, Savannah, Newport and always sharing a smile with friends.
He is survived by his daughters Alexandrea Ravenelle, of New York City, her husband Sam Duncan and a first grandchild to be born in March of 2017, as well as Rachel Ravenelle of Savannah, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Ravenelle. He is survived by his former wife, Elizabeth Jean (Lefebvre) Holton of Huntsville, Alabama.
He is also survived by his fiancée Michele Colarusso of Franklin; her two children, Kerri Michele Clifford and her fiancée Stephen Vahan Vartanian, and Timothy Edward Clifford and his girlfriend, Stacy Leigh Parks; a beloved puppy, Holmes; 3 cats, Tinkerbell, Charcoal and Oreo; and his brothers: Richard Ravenelle and his wife Phyllis of Westport, and Daniel Ravenelle and his wife Susanne Quinn of Exeter, Rhode Island, along with many other family members and friends.
His funeral service will be private.
