Lorraine C. Hogan, 89, passed away peacefully, January 16, 2017 at Cortland Place. She was the widow of Richard W. Hogan. They had been married for 66 years at the time of his death in 2015.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Zita (Paulhus) Richard.
She is survived by her sons, Michael C. Hogan and John J. Hogan and his wife, Corinne all of Greenville, her grandchildren: Ashley and Christopher Hogan, her sisters: Jean Accinno of Barrington and Carol Richard of Providence and her brothers: Robert “Bob” Richard of Cranston and Donald Richard of North Smithfield. She was the sister of the late Zita Cannon and Charles, Norman and David Richard.
Lorraine had worked at Cherry & Webb in Providence for 25 years before retiring. She was a volunteer at Providence Performing Arts and enjoyed bowling. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Her family would like to extend their sincere gratitude for the exceptional care she received at Cortland Place where she lived for the past ten years. They also wish to thank Beacon Hospice.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Friday 4-7pm.
