WEBSTER – David W. Germata, 67, died Monday, January 16, 2017 in UMass/Memorial University Campus, Worcester. His mother, Pauline A. (LePage) Germata, died Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in Brookside Rehab & Nursing Facility, Webster.
They leave a son and brother, Gary M. Germata; a daughter and sister, Sharyn K. Morin and her husband Daniel, all of Webster; and a step-grandchild and step-nephew, Brett Morin of Manchester, NH; a step-great-grandchild and step-great-nephew, Jackson Ulbin-Morin; nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by three brothers, J. Hector “Jerry” LePage, Roy LePage and Emile LePage, and by a sister, M. Rose Boudreau.
Pauline was born in Webster, the daughter of Hector J. and Eva D. (Duhaime) LePage and was a lifelong resident. David was also born in Webster, the son of the late William J. Germata and graduated from Bartlett High School.
Mrs. Germata was a homemaker. Mr. Germata worked as a printer at several locations, including the Elm Press in Dudley before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and gardening.
A double funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 21, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Saturday in the funeral home.
