Sharon Lynn Farias, age 38, of Bristol RI, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017. She was born on August 9, 1978 in Fall River, MA. She is the daughter of the late Gilbert Farias and the late Nancy Farias. Sharon attended B.M.C Durfee High School in Fall River, MA and the Community College of Rhode Island in the pursuit of a nursing degree. Sharon worked for many years as a certified nurse’s aide. She was an avid writer of poetry: her writing was enjoyed and appreciated by those who knew her. Sharon also loved all types of music, attending numerous music concerts over the years. Sharon treasured her family and recently travelled to Texas to spend Christmas with her daughter and grand children who she loved very much. Sharon had a very big heart and those that knew her understood her passion for life.
She is survived by her beloved children; Jenna Lynn Farias and Nicholas Donald Fair, three grandchildren; Marquies, Michael, and Arianna, sisters; Rita Farias, Nancy Andrade, Tessie Farias, Christene Stern, brothers; Antonio, Gilbert, Christopher Farias and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Jeffrey and Alfred Farias.
Her calling hours will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday from 6-8 P.M.
