Pamela K. Walczak, age 54, of Norton passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Easton.
Born in Biloxi, Mississippi on March 9, 1962, she was a loving daughter of Frederick S. Walczak and his wife Gloria of Taunton and the late Clara A. (Rei) DeMeritt and her late husband William.
Pam grew up in Norton and was educated in Norton and Taunton schools. She was a graduate of Norton High School and had attended Massasoit Community College in Brockton.
Pam had made her home in Norton for most of her life and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norton. She had previously worked at Joanne’s Fabrics in South Attleboro.
Pam enjoyed times spent with family. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, knitting, crocheting and writing poetry, which she had the distinction of being published.
In addition to her father she is survived by her devoted brothers and sister Frederick M. Walczak of Norton, Debra A. Walczak of Montana and Christopher P. Walczak of California. She was the stepsister of Brenda Flores of Taunton, David Andrews of Middleboro, Edward Andrews of Maryland, Julie Maniscalco of Mississippi and the late John Paul Andrews. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Monday, January 23rd at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Power St., Norton. Burial will follow at the Norton Common Cemetery in Norton.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 22nd from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
