Wendell Tripp, 76, of Fall River, formerly of Westport died unexpectedly, Monday, January 16, 2017 at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the husband of Marilyn (LePage) Tripp.
Born in Westport, son of the late Isaac A. and Barbara (Manchester) Tripp, he was a lifelong resident of Westport. He was the co-owner of T&T Trucking, Westport and had previously been co-owner of Tripp Brothers Hay and Tripp Brothers Potatoes, both of Westport. If you needed to find Wendell he would be at his garage at the former Barbie Anne's Restaurant in Westport with his twin brother Randall.
Including his wife, survivors include 2 sons: Steven D. Tripp and his wife Karen of Dighton and Carl D. Tripp and his wife Lisa of Westport; 2 daughters: Charlene W. DeCosta of FL and Marlene D. Resendes and her husband William of FL; 3 brothers: Isaac A. Tripp, Jr. of Westport, Calvin F. Tripp of Westport and Randall Tripp of Fall River; 3 sisters: Ruth Norton of Rochester, NY, Eunice Durfee of Tiverton and June Hebert of Westport; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was father of the late Douglas P. Tripp and brother of the late Grover Tripp, Harvey Tripp and Barbara Carreiro.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.

Interment in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Little Compton.
