Jeffrey A. Kapinos, 40, passed away Jan. 10, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born Oct. 7, 1976 in Springfield. He leaves his son Jonathan Kapinos and father Michael Kapinos of Chicopee; his mother Kimberly Rinker and stepfather Gary Rinker of Agawam; his sister Jamie Rinker of Easthampton and confidant Janet Melendez of Chicopee. His love for countless other family and friends can be felt in the legacy he leaves behind. Jeff was a salesman by trade and enjoyed traveling and cooking. He had an open door for anyone in need and loved bringing people together. Calling hours will be held Thur., Jan. 19th from 4–7 PM at Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee.
