NATICK: Lois Marie (Andres) Flynn, age 85, a former resident of Concord and Natick, died peacefully on January 12, 2017, at her Lunenburg home. Born, raised, and educated in Litchfield, IL, Lois was the daughter of Russell G. and Marie (Sanders) Andres.
She married and came with her family to the Boston area, settling in Natick in 1966. They moved to Concord in 1973, where she was to live for the next 43 years. A loving and proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lois very much enjoyed laboring in her gardens, working crossword puzzles, and facing an opponent in a good game of Scrabble. She had resided in Lunenburg since 2015.
Predeceased by her son Patrick Flynn in 1970, she is survived by her children William J. Flynn, III, of Milton, Brooke Deming of Wyckoff, NJ, Kevin Flynn of Lowell, Kelly Flynn of Lunenburg, and Bridget Stanaway of Elk River, MN; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey, Brooke, Kassey, Sean, Lacey, Nick, Christopher, Katie, and Lilly; three great-grandchildren, Jace, Kayden, and Sean; and a brother, Russell Andres, Jr.
Her Memorial Service will be in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Thursday, January 19th at 1:30PM. Relatives and friends may visit with Lois’ family during the hour prior to her service.
Burial will follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of MA/NH, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472 (www.alz.org.).
