GOLDE, Catherine Elizabeth (Mattingly), 88, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Golde; daughter, Sharon Golde; and her parents, Mary Pearl and Virgil Mattingly.
Libby is survived by her children, Edward L. Golde III (Mary), Lori Wright (Jim), Cathy Meredith (Cliff), and Dwight Golde (Tammy); grandchildren, Sharon, Matt, Jennifer, Zachary, Andrew, Damien, Jamie, Rachel, Sam, and Jack; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Virgil “Buddy” Mattingly; and sisters, LaVerne Wentzell and Shirley Johnson, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday January 15th 2017 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. The service will be Monday 11 a.m at the funeral home followed by burial at St. Michael Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
