FUNICELLA- Of Lexington, formerly of Malden, January 9th, Olive L. (Muse). Devoted wife of the late Serafino Funicella. Beloved mother of William Funicella and his wife Chris of Reno, NV, Cecilia Sacherski and her husband Steve of Hollis, NH, Carol Eyermann and her husband Richard of Virginia, John Funicella and his wife Lisa of Lynn and Jim Funicella and his wife Diane of Baldwinville. Sister of Virginia Novello, Janice Laroch, Joseph Muse, Jr. and the late Marjorie A. Muse. Also lovingly survived by 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Saturday, January 14th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St., Malden at 10 o'clock. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
A lifelong resident of Malden until moving to Care One of Lexington for supportive care, Olive at 90 years of age passed away early Monday morning. During her working years, she was employed as cafeteria worker for the City of Malden.
