Belmont, NH-----Jody Leigh Hannan, 42, long time resident of Belmont passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017.
Jody was born on December 30, 1974 in Franklin, NH. She attended Belmont High School and graduated in 1992. She then went on to pursue a career in cosmetology by attending Empire Beauty School. Jody was an aspiring cosmetologist whose love for cutting hair showed through her clients. She loved connecting with people and making them feel good about their physical appearance. Some places she has worked for are Thomas Roberts Salon in Plymouth, JD’s Barbershop in Laconia, and both Village Image and Supercuts in Belmont.
Jody was a loving mother who lived her life for and through her son. She enjoyed spending as much of her time with him, whether it was running off to a sport he was playing or relaxing watching movies together.
Jody is survived by her son, Jake Giguere; her mother and stepfather Loretta and Tony Brown, her father and stepmother Brent Hannan and Linda Byers; 3 sisters Carrie Hannan, Kimberly Brunelle and her husband Jeremy Brunelle and Kayleigh Marchetti and her husband Andrew Marchetti; 2 nephews Hunter and Haiden and 3 nieces Cadence, Carlyn and Katelyn and by her grandmothers, Marion Santerre and Helen Brown.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 10:00am to 12:00noon at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH, followed immediately by a Funeral Service, also at the Funeral Home.
