Age 48. Passed away on January 7, 2017. Preceded in death by birth father, David Lyons; & father, William R. Hampton. Survived by loving wife of 27 years, Nancy; children, Linsie, & Billy; granddaughter, Summer; mother, Donna Hampton-Maki; numerous other relatives and friends. Member of the J.F.D’s. Memorial Service Saturday (January 14, 2017) 2:00 PM at FIRST EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, 2696 Hazelwood St., Maplewood. Visitation Friday from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul and one hour prior to the Service at the Church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Darren was full of life and had an infectious laugh. Never hesitated to help anyone and was the kind of person that many aspired to be. He was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
