North Andover, MA--------Marcel Gill 87, former longtime resident of Laconia, died Saturday January 8, 2017 at the Sutton Hill Center surrounded by his loving family.
Marcel was born November 15, 1929 in Manchester, NH son to the late Simon and Helena (Boily) Gill. He worked for several years at Sangamo Electric as a sales manager. Marcel was an avid hobbyist from building model cars to making doll houses. He also had a passion for photography but above all he loved being with his family and friends.
Marcel is survived by 3 sons, Dan Gill of Brentwood, Norman Gill of North Andover, MA and David Gill and his wife, Mary of Burlington, MA; a daughter, Elaine Chirichiello and her husband, Steve of Hampstead; 11 grandchildren, Andrew, Tiffany, Derek, Jackie, Danny, Kristen, David, Katie, Casey, Sofie and Simon; 2 great-grandchildren, Torin and Briar; a sister-in-law, Carmel Gill of Goffstown and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his loving wife, Lorraine (Levasseur) Gill and his brother Omer J. Gill.
A Calling Hour will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 10:00-11:00am at St. Andre Bessette Parish-Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Andre Bessette Parish-Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH.
Burial will be in the family lot at Sacred Heart at a later date.
