Aline O. (Graca) Leite, 84, of New Bedford died January 7, 2017 at The Oaks Nursing Home.
She was the wife of the late Eurico R. Leite.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, the daughter of the late Joao and Isaura (Faria) Graca, she lived in Dorchester before moving to New Bedford in 1999.
She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts.
Survivors include 3 sons, Eurico George Leite of New Bedford, Carlos Albert Leite of Boston and Roger Leite of Brockton; a daughter, Teresa Maria Leite of New Bedford; a brother, Joao Arman doFaria Graca of Brava; 2 sisters, Celina Faria Graca of Holland and Adalmia Faria Graca of Brava; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a Goddaughter, Angela Fonseca Pesare of Pawtucket, RI and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Otavio Faria Graca.
Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, January 12th at 8 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, January 11th from 4-8 PM.
