William K. Dupont (Bill), age 73, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Friday January 6, 2017 in Florida. He was the devoted husband of 53 years to Dolores Dupont, and the loving son of the late Alfred and Mary Dupont and brother of the late Alfred Dupont. He was born in Newport, RI and graduated from Rogers High School. Before retiring Bill worked for the City of Fall River in the purchasing department. Besides being a loving husband, father, and grandfather he loved camping, fishing, watching the Patriots and Red Sox games and spending winters in Florida.
In addition to his devoted wife he is survived by his daughters; Donna Rebello and her husband Steven of Westport, and Deborah Farias and her husband Michael of Fall River; grandchildren John Marsden III, Tanner Paquet, Holly Regis, Leigh-Anne Rebello, Rachel Gagne and Luke Farias; sibling Maria Ferris of Somerset; and several nieces and nephews.
His calling hours will take place at the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main Street, Fall River, MA on Thursday, January 12, from 4-8pm. Funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home on Friday at 8:45 A.M. followed by a service at the First Church of the Nazarene on Hathaway Road in New Bedford, MA at 10:00 A.M.
