Ginger Fowler Reeves, 63, of Lenox, Georgia, died Saturday, December 31, 2016, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Young Cemetery with the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8 Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Reeves was born September 20, 1953, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Winfred & Mildred Minshew Fowler. She was a 1971 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and earned her cosmetology certification from Ben Hill-Irwin Tech. She was a beautician and worked as a hostess at Cracker Barrel in Tifton. Mrs. Reeves loved to read and sing and enjoyed decorating for and celebrating Christmas. She attended Pineview Holiness Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters: Suzanne Wiggins Williamson and her fiancé J.R. Ray and Kristen Wiggins, all of Lenox; five grandchildren: Luke Williamson, Logan Ray, Gabriel Ray, Cattie Ray, and Ahlora Ray; three brothers: Gary & Beth Fowler, Kyle & Elaine Fowler, and Kelly Fowler, all of Ben Hill County; a niece and nephews: Kaylyn & Adam Venteicher, Brandon & Courtney Fowler, Jeremy & Shawna Fowler, and Dustin Fowler; as well as great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tracy Kim Fowler.
