Robert Lynn Stockman
The world has lost a gentle soul with a loving spirit and humble heart. Bob Stockman passed away
peacefully on January 4, 2017. Bob is survived by his three sons, Ronald Stockman of Las Vegas, NV and
Cody Stockman of Ventura, CA along with Travis Stockman of Belfair WA. Bob is also survived by his
sister Beth Harrell, sister and brother in law Patricia and Carl Fiveash and brother Thomas Stockman Jr.,
along with several nieces and nephews.
Bob had a great heart of love for his family, and he loved his work as a chaplain. That heart also held
much love for all of God's people and a willingness to share his support and knowledge of the Word with
anyone desiring of his time.
Though we are left behind to mourn and miss him he is with his Lord whom he loved so dearly and
served so diligently, and in this we find comfort.
A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, January 11 th at 3:00 p.m. at the Olivet Baptist Church,
174 South Anacapa Street, Ventura CA 93001. Chaplain John T. Gatlin will be officiating.
