RAYNHAM - Antoinette E. “Toni” (Provost) Yellen, 84, of Raynham died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at Morton Hospital in Taunton after a period of failing health.
Born July 17, 1921, in Bridgewater, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Blanche (Belmore) Provost and grew up in New Jersey.
Mrs. Yellen had been a resident of Raynham for the past 11 years, coming from New Jersey, where she was raised and educated.
She was a bookkeeper and a member of the Red Hat Association and St. Ann’s Women’s Guild, both of Raynham.
Mrs. Yellen was also a member of the Gold Star Mothers and the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, both out of New Jersey.
She is survived by her son, Edward Yellen of Taunton; and her cousin, Jeanne Owen of Carver. She was the sister of the late Louis Yellen Jr. and Edward Yellen.
Her funeral will be from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Thursday at 9 am., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Raynham, at 10 am. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Bridgewater.
Visiting hours are Wednesday 3-7 pm.
