Ilco Stoinev Todorov, 84, of Millis, died Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Bozena Todorov for the past 58 years.
Mr. Todorov was born and raised in Bulgaria and resided there until age 24 when he moved to the Czech Republic. He lived and worked in the Czech Republic until moving to the United States at age 36. He resided in various towns in the Boston area until settling in Millis 17 years ago.
Mr. Todorov worked at Children Hospital in Boston for many years until his retirement. He had formerly worked as an electrician.
Mr. Todorvo loved gardening.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Otto Todorov of Natick, his daughter, Dagmar Todorov Downey of Millis and four grandchildren, Alexis Downey and Alexandra, Marco and Isabella Todorov.
He is also survived by his brother Stoinev Todorov of Bulgaria.
Funeral services will be held privately at the request of his family.
