Harriet A. Morin, 84, of Manchester, NH, died Monday, August 22, 2005 in the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester. Mrs. Morin was born in Derry, NH on October 21, 1920, a daughter of the late Elwyn A. and Ethel E. (Venner) Bailey. She was a former resident of Derry, and Goffstown, NH. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry. She had worked many years as a stitcher in the shoe industry in Derry and later enjoyed being a health care worker, having worked at McKerleys Health Care Center in Bedford, NH. Mrs. Morin was very up to date on politics, historical and current events and dearly loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Claude V. Morin, Jr. of Lady Lake, FL, two daughters, Rosemary L. Huskie of Lady Lake, FL and Michelle J. Turgeon of Manchester, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Elwyn Bailey, Jr. of TX, Warren Bailey of Derry, two sisters, Lucy Brown and Ethel Cadieux, both of Derry and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Leo A. Bailey and Thomas G. Bailey, and by two sisters, Minnie I. Galvin and Eleanore Wells.
There are no visiting hours. Private family graveside services were held. The Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Moore Center Services, Inc., 132 Titus Avenue Manchester, NH 03103.
