Mary Victoria (Juffre) Cecchini, age 105, passed away peacefully after a long wonderful life. Born at home on Newbern Avenue in South Medford, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Julia (Castelucci) Juffre. A devoted wife and mother, she worked for many years as a waitress at DePasquale’s Restaurant. She lived at the same home until recently moving in with her daughter.
The beloved wife of the late Peter Cecchini, she leaves her daughter Julia "Chickie" Bucci and her husband Anthony of Medford. She is predeceased by her daughter Carol Corrado and her late husband Angelo. She leaves five loving grandchildren, 13 loving great-grandchildren and three loving great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves her brother Charles Juffre and his wife Mary
Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 4 from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
