Richard L Gamache, 56, of Worcester, died on December 29, 2016 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
He is survived by four sisters, Patricia A. Stoll of North Brookfield; Barbara M. Gamache of Worcester; Lynne Bertel of Edgewater, Fl., and Karen A. Gamache of Worcester. He is also survived by nephews, great nephews and great nieces and great grand nephews. He was born in Worcester, a son of the late Ernest F. and Edith M. (O’Brien) Gamache and has lived here all of his life. He was also predeceased by a sister, Arline L. Gamache who died in 1970.
Mr. Gamache was a warehouse worker and had worked for BJ’s Stores and Walmart. He graduated from Burncoat Senior High School, Worcester. Richard was a U.S. Navy veteran and was deployed to the India Ocean theater of operations during the IRAN CONTRA period.
He was a graduate of Johnson & Wales University. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid Patriots fan.
Calling hours for Richard will be held on Wednesday January 4, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street.
