Angelina F. DeCarolis
Longtime Tewksbury Resident
TEWKSBURY: Angelina F. (Alessandro) DeCarolis, age 91, a resident of Tewksbury for 68 years, passed away at home, with her family by her side, on Sunday, January 1, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of Guy F. DeCarolis, who passed away on March 25, 2005.
Born in Boston on May 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Alessandro and the late Anna (Sacoco) Alessandro.
Angelina was raised in the West End area of Boston and attended local schools.
Following her marriage to Guy, she dedicated her life to raising her family.
She resided in Somerville until moving to Tewksbury in 1949.
Angelina was a communicant of St. William’s Parish.
She enjoyed swimming and traveling, and loved visiting Atlantic City, NJ.
She is survived by one daughter, Regina C. Fishman and her husband Stanley M. Fishman of Tewksbury; two grandsons, Wayde A. Fishman and Jeffrey S. Fishman both of Hawaii; also numerous extended family members.
Angelina was the sister of the late Frank Alessandro.
Family and friends are invited to her Funeral Services on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Interment will follow at Tewksbury Cemetery. At Angelina’s request there are No Calling Hours.
