Wilson, Gerald Leon, 81, passed away January 1, 2017 in Floyd County, IN.
He was born to Leo and Grace (Lantz) Wilson.
Gerald was a Civil Servant for the Naval Ordinance, retiring in 1991 in Electronic Maintenance, and a proud U.S. Army Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gloria; and a sister, Louise Calanahan.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Vickie Newsome (Richard), Debra Estep (Randall), Russell Wilson (Sherri), and Denis Wilson (Donyale); 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; burial is in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday 1:00-8:00PM.
