Ruby Nell Barnes Franklin, 85, of Enigma was called to Heaven Monday, January 2, 2017, at her residence. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Mrs. Franklin at a later date.
Born March 15, 1931 in Birmingham, Alabama, Mrs. Franklin was the daughter of the late Berry Bulis Barnes and Fanny Arlena Orick Barnes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Franklin. She was retired from Georgia Vegetable Company as a secretary and had lived a wonderful life.
Mrs. Franklin is survived by two sons, Troy Lagrone of Savannah and Joseph Nance of Enigma; two sisters, Ruth Grist of Tifton and Berry Sewell of Ormond Beach, Florida; and four grandchildren.
