Rosemary (Medeiros) Wordell, 72, of Little Compton passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at home. She was the wife of Earl S. Wordell, Jr. Born in Waltham, MA, she was daughter of the late William S. and Frances R. (Wilkie) Medeiros. Mrs. Wordell was a Communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton.
Including her husband, survivors include 2 sons: Douglas E. Wordell of Little Compton and Nicholas M. Wordell of Tiverton; 2 daughters: Lisa M. Svoboda and her husband Richard of Tiverton and Nicole M. Wordell and her husband Jason Wilson of Little Compton; a brother: William F. Medeiros and his wife Lorraine of Hudson, MA; 3 sisters: Marion F. Powers and her husband Kenneth of Little Compton, Alice M. Medeiros of Little Compton and Lillian C. Marrow of Little Compton; 5 grandchildren: Gregory, Abbey, Zoey, Daniel and Aiden; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, February 4, 2017 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton at 10:00 A.M.
