Mary E (O’Neil) Cuthbert, 89, a resident of Lawrence, died on Thursday December 29th 2016 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center in Lawrence.
She was born in Lawrence Mass on January 9th 1927 to Felix J and Margaret C Costello O’Neil. Educated in St Patrick’s Grammar School and a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School in Lawrence. She worked for over 40 years for the City of Lawrence until her retirement. She was a member of the Lady’s Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 8 of Lawrence Massachusetts. Mary was also a longtime volunteer at St. Patrick’s Church in Lawrence.
She is the wife of the late John F Cuthbert and her late son John F Cuthbert Jr. She is survived by her three brothers: Frank and his wife Gisela O’Neil of Palm Bay, FL, Bernard O’Neil of Seabrook, New Hampshire, and Thomas and his wife Connie O’Neil of Merrimac Mass as well as nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers John Joseph Edmund and Arthur.
Funeral services are private at the request of Mary’s family.
