Earlene Belflower Brockington, 72, of Fitzgerald, died, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.
Graveside memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Joel Shirley officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:30 until service time at the cemetery.
Mrs. Brockington, was born February 8, 1944, in Fitzgerald Georgia to the late Eugene and Marie Batts Belflower. She was a graduate of Margaret McEvoy High School in Macon and was employed with the IRS as a Microfilmer; she also worked with Cherokee National Life Insurance Company. She was a resident of Fitzgerald and Ben Hill County Georgia since 1999, moving from Macon, Georgia.
Survivors include her daughter: Susan Conner Cook of Lizella, Georgia; granddaughter, Macy Marie Amos of Lizella; a sister, Martha B. Griswold and husband Jimmy of Fitzgerald; a brother, Danny Belflower and wife Teri of Bolingbroke, Georgia; also surviving are two nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John B. Brockington.
