Bernice L. (Erickson) Langlois, 99, of Berlin, passed away on Tuesday December 27, 2016 at the Coos County Nursing Home. She was born in Berlin on September 19, 1917 the daughter of Emil and Maree L. (Currier) Erickson and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Berlin High School in 1935 and then worked for a time at Brown Company before marrying her husband, Edward Langlois, in 1936. Bernice had later been employed by A. D. Davis Insurance Company. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was the past President of the Women’s Insurance Group, where she was very active.
Family includes her sons Bruce Langlois and wife Valerie of Lexington, KY and Richard Langlois and wife Barbara of San Antonio, TX; daughter Sharon Andrews and husband William of Milford, NH; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Langlois in 1998, a grandson Peter Andrews and a brother Bernard Erickson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday June 30, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church with interment to follow in the Russian City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 101 Norway St., Berlin, NH, 03570. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
