Jesse L. Anderson, age 86, died Monday, December 19, 2016 at Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS. He was born December 5, 1930 to the late Samuel Leo Anderson and Margaret Craven Anderson. Jesse was a farmer and attended Jones Chapel Church of God. He loved living life, growing watermelons, basketball and German Shepard dogs.
Jesse is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carolyn Hurt Anderson of Batesville, MS; two daughters, Linda Anderson Reece of Batesville, MS and Laurie Anderson Robinson of Enterprise, MS; one son Douglas Anderson of Water Valley, MS ; one brother Thomas Ray Anderson of Meridian, MS; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Anderson and Bobby Anderson.
A memorial service is planned for a later date.
