In East Bridgewater, December 24, 2016 Janet Fisher, age 81, passed away peacefully in Sachem Nursing Home following a brief illness. Janet was born in Dighton, the daughter of the late Carlos & Annie (Lucas) Fisher. Janet had resided in Bridgewater the past fifty years and was formerly of Dighton. Janet was educated in Dighton schools. She had many hobbies but the things she cherished most were her son and family. Janet is survived by her loving son Peter Fisher of Bridgewater. Her sister Ruth Dubee of Bridgewater and brothers Francis E. Fisher of Taunton and Louis E. Fisher of Natick and her late sister Joyce A. Hauck. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are private at the request of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
