TEWKSBURY: Wendy Irene (Larsen) Plant, age 52, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, December 25, 2016.
Born in Lowell on January 3, 1964, she was the much loved daughter of Alfred W. “Gus” Larsen and his wife Sandra J. (Leva) of Litchfield, NH and the late Irene M. (LoBouef) Larsen, who passed away on November 19, 2005.
Wendy was raised in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1982.
For the past 16 years, Wendy worked in numerous capacities at the Tewksbury Home Depot. In recent years, she worked primarily in bookkeeping.
Wendy loved spending time at the beach, especially York Beach in Maine.
She was an avid cook and baker, and her chocolate chip cookies and turkey dinners were legendary.
In addition, she loved Disney World and Disney memorabilia.
Wendy will be lovingly remembered for her warm and friendly personality, and her way of making everyone around her feel special.
She was a devoted and loving mother to her three children, Matthew A. Plant of Nashua, NH, Katelyn A. Plant and Abigail I. Plant both of Tewksbury.
Besides her father, step-mother and children, she is survived by three siblings, James S. Larsen of Windham, NH, Jeffery A. Larsen of Nashua, NH, and Kristen A. Hersom and her husband Steve of Campton, NH; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Calling hours are Thursday, Dec. 29, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral will begin on Friday, Dec. 30, at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wendy’s memory may be made to the Tewksbury Food Pantry, 999 Whipple Road, Tewksbury, MA 01876.
