Michael A. Stewart, 71, died peacefully at his Anderson home on December 24, 2016 of complications from Front temporal Dementia (FTD).
His wife, Cathy Stewart, and grandson, Peter Riley were at his side.
Mike was the son of Dorothy Stewart, Pendleton. He graduated from Pendleton High School and attended Purdue University, Indianapolis. Mike worked at Delco Remy in plants 7 and 20 for 33 years. He enjoyed his home, family, grandchildren, pets, gardening, NHRA, and Symphony on the Prairie. Mike loved telling stories.
He was preceded in death by his mother, brother, Jeffrey, and nephew, Peter Hunter.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Cathy, daughters, Rebecca (James) Riley, Suzanne (Steve) Jacobs, grandchildren, Michael and Peter Riley, Catherine Jacobs, his brothers, William, Robert, Steve and Jon Stewart, sisters-in-law, Judy Hunter and Paula Bryant and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 30 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 -7 p.m. Thursday.
