Frank Lidano of Somerville died on Saturday, December 24, at Mt. Auburn Hospital of Cambridge. Born in Carpineto Romano, Italy, he was the son of the late Agostino and Antonia (Prosperi) Lidano. Frank came to the U.S. and settled in Somerville in 1958.
Frank was the beloved husband of Julie (Urbanowicz), and the devoted father of Laura Saunders and her husband David, Michael Lidano and his wife Sandra Evangelista, all of Somerville. He was the loving grandfather of James, William and Amelie, and brother of Balduino Lidano of Rome, Pierina Antico of Wilmington, Luciano Lidano of , and the late Alda Lidano. Frank is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, December 29 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Visiting hours Wednesday, December 28, from 4 through 8 PM.
