Concetta S. (DiGiacomandrea) Mele
Concetta S. (DiGiacomandrea) of Reading formerly of East Boston and Melrose passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at Melrose Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. She was 74 years of age.
Born in Boston, she was the loving daughter of the late Carmine DiGiacomandrea and Elvira (Ranieri) DiGiacomandrea. Concetta was a dedicated and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Concetta was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Mele. She was the devoted mother of June Guzzetti and her husband Paul of North Carolina, Salvatore Mele Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Reading, AnneMarie and her husband Timmothy Browne of Tewksbury.Cherished grandmother Jill Guzzetti, Michael Guzzetti, Christina Mele, Gino Mele, Nicky Mele, Delia Mele, Scott Browne, Paul Browne and the late Maria Browne. Dear sister of Anna Distaso of Melrose, Tito DiGiacomandrea of Revere and the late Carmine DiGiacomandrea Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Concetta’s life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Monday 4-8pm. Interment Charles Lawn Cemetery Reading.
