Mrs. Marie Rose (Rocha) Goulet, of Taunton, died Friday, December 23 at her residence following a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of Henry A. Goulet. She was born 89 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Rocha. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, Marie had been employed as a clerk for Reed and Barton Silversmiths for over 20 years. She was a communicant of Holy Rosary Parish in Taunton.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a niece, Rita of Halifax.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Tuesday, December 27 at 10:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Church at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be private. A Visiting Hour will precede the funeral, Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M.
