Mary J. Flynn, 92, wife of the late William Flynn and daughter of the late Bernard and Josephine Desmond, passed away on November 28, 2016 at home with her family at her side.
She is survived by her son William of Franklin, daughters Priscilla of Framingham and Paula Bonetti and her husband Gary of Milford. She also leaves two grandchildren Andrew Bonetti and his wife Krista of Framingham and Michael Bonetti of Worcester, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers Bernard Roy Desmond and Francis Desmond and sister Eileen Walsh.
Mary started her banking career at Shawmut Bank in Boston. After raising her children and moving to Franklin, she resumed her career at the Norfolk County Trust Company, eventually retiring from BayBank in 1987.
Mary enjoyed traveling, bowling, line dancing, bocce, cribbage, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed the many events and friends she made at the Franklin Senior Center.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Friday December 2nd, at 11AM in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square Franklin. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday from 9-10:30AM at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. prior to the funeral Mass.
