Obituary

Wilbraham – Arthur E. Taylor, 69, formerly of Worcester died on Thursday August 18 in the Wingate at Wilbraham Nursing Home after an illness.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife Yvonne Taylor; three sons Kenneth and David both of Worcester and Robert of Palmer; three daughters Sandra Merceri of Three Rivers, Sheila Bain of Virginia Beach, VA, and Cynthia Sagar of Worcester; 18 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by a daughter Grace Taylor and two sisters. Mr. Taylor was born in Worcester son of John and Grace Taylor.

He lived in Worcester for most of his life and worked as a machinist in many Worcester factories. Mr. Taylor was an avid fisherman, bowler, and enjoyed playing horseshoes.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 23 at 11 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Monday, August 22 from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
