LACONIA — Charisse Marie Caruso, 52 of Weirs Boulevard, passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016.
She was born on July 12, 1964, in Boston, the daughter of Barbara A. Beaule of Northfield and the late, Arthur M. Caruso of Tennessee. Her family moved to New Hampshire when she was 12 years old. Charisse worked at the shoe factory, then was a housekeeper for many years at places like Best Western, The Summit, The Margate, and LRGH and then became a stay-at-home mom.
She married Steven G. Copp I, and they had three sons together. They divorced in 1992 but remained friends for 34 years. She enjoyed talking with her children, having a cup of coffee with family and she loved her three cats dearly.
She is survived by her fiancé of 10 years, Leslie Dimond of Laconia; her two sons, Christopher and Jeremy Copp, both of Laconia, and their half-sister Chrystal Osher of Virginia; a brother, Arthur Caruso of Laconia; a sister, Sherri Caruso of Tennessee; a sister, Susan St. Pierre and her husband Steve of Laconia; a sister, Alicia Cardinal of Northfield; two grandsons, Steven G. Copp III and Jordan L. Copp; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father in 2009, her brother, Henry J. Caruso in 2014; and by her son, Steven G. Copp II in 2014.
