Norman L. Fortier, 80, of Worcester died Thursday, December 22nd in Tufts Medical Center surrounded by his family. He leaves his wife of 59 years, Ann M. (McNamara) Fortier; three sons, Daniel J. Fortier of Worcester, John J. Fortier and his wife, Terri of Lewiston, ME and Kenneth P. and his wife, Viktoria K. of Chaplin, CT. He is predeceased by a granddaughter, Shannon Fortier.
He was born in Portland, Maine the son of Rosario and Jeannette (Roy) Fortier. Mr. Fortier worked for Borden and Prince for 35 years as a sales supervisor, retiring in 1995. Norman was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a Harley Davidson enthusiast.
His funeral is Tuesday, December 27th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 12:00 PM in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 27th from 10:30 until 11:30 AM in the funeral home.
