Rose C. Spagnolo, 81, of NH, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Boston, MA on June 13, 1935, a daughter of Frank and Lillian (Orkins) Venuti. Rose was a beloved member of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish and took great pride in the church. She enjoyed refining her skill as an oil paint artist and creating new works of art. She enjoyed her retirement always surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved deeply.
She is survived by two daughters, Laura Spagnolo (Ted) of NH and Linda Amento (Peter) of CT; son, Ronald Spagnolo of NH; five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, Eric and Brian Duval, Kim, Amy and Melanie Amento, Brygida Weinberg and Richard Januszewski; nine great-grandchildren, Danuta, Tyler, Troy, Keith, Gina, Tommy, Ari, Olivia and Richie; three sisters, Dorothy Iverson of VT, Lois Hubbard of NH and Paula Draper of AZ; brother, William Venuti of MI and also many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation calling hours were held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A liturgy of Christian burial was held on Wednesday at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial followed in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody, MA.
