Wallace “Jack” Whitmer, 85, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at his home. Born in Millport, Ky. he was a retired technician for AT&T, a lifetime member of C.W.A. and a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Whitmer.
He is survived by his children, John Whitmer (Denise), Greg Whitmer (Roxanna) and Sheri Giacalone (Dan); five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be 11 am Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment at Evergreen Mausoleum.
Visitation will be 4 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday.
