I wanted you to know how I felt about a wonderful person named Nick.
Truly a diamond in the rough with a little edge to him. Not perfect but always made all of us feel perfect. A helping hand with a green thumb who could make any plant or flower in distress see the sun again. A husband, a father, a grandfather who cherished every moment to spend time with his family. A friend, a smile at the local DAV Club. A rock star in the Navy who gave his time to protect our Country.
To me, a friend who I will miss and never ever forget.
If I only learn one thing in life, it will always be "the best things in life....are not things".

Love Daren
